Turkmen Child's Vest

An amazingly detailed piece! This beautifully hand woven vest was most likely worn by a child to a traditional Turkmen wedding or other festive ceremony. Hand crafted silver coins and beads blanket every angle of this piece in a shimmering display of tribal celebration. Cowlri shells and hand woven fringe have been added for spiritual protection as well.
